Brayden Green is a junior Music Education (Instrumental) major at Mississippi State University. He is from Brandon, MS in which he graduated from Brandon High School in the spring of 2021. At MSU, Green studied trumpet with Dr. Anthony Kirkland prior to his retirement and currently studies with Dr. Jacquelyn Lankford. During his time at Mississippi State University, Green has participated in the MSU Trumpet Studio, Trumpet Ensemble, Famous Maroon Band, MSU Campus, Concert, and Symphonic Band, and the First United Methodist Brass Ensemble.  

During the Summertime, Green spends his time working with high school band students. He has worked with high schools around the state such as Neshoba Central High School and Brandon High School. He also has worked with the Mississippi Lions All-State Band as tech-staff. 

Green currently serves as an assistant to Mark Edwards at Brandon High School for the Brandon “042” Indoor Winds ensemble. With this ensemble, Mr. Edwards and Mr. Green have taken this group to MIA State Championships in which the group received silver medals. They have also traveled to WGI World Championships in Dayton, OH in which the group was a world finalist.
